Anti-TB therapy is a multi-drug treatment for tuberculosis (TB) that typically involves a combination of four first-line drugs – isoniazid (H), rifampin (R), pyrazinamide (Z), and ethambutol (E) – in an initial 2-month intensive phase, followed by a continuation phase of isoniazid and rifampin for several more months, totaling 6 to 9 months for active TB.
