نبذة مختصرة
Several ionic antibacterial agents are used in caries management, primarily leveraging the antimicrobial and remineralizing properties of metal ions like silver, tin, and copper. The most prominent agents include silver diamine fluoride (SDF), stannous fluoride, and calcium hydroxide. Newer alternatives, such as copper-based ions and nanoclay composites, aim to overcome the aesthetic limitations of traditional compounds.
