Management of surgical (obstructive) jaundice focuses on identifying and resolving the underlying biliary obstruction through supportive care (hydration, nutrition, vitamin K correction) and definitive treatment, which may involve endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), percutaneous drainage, or open surgery like choledochoduodenostomy, hepaticojejunostomy, or pancreatoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure), depending on the cause, location, and patient condition.
