Surface pretreatment significantly influences the bond strength of biological posts, particularly those made from dentin or fiber-reinforced composites (FRCs). Effective surface treatment methods increase micromechanical retention and enhance chemical bonding, which are crucial for the long-term clinical success of post-and-core restorations.
