Plasma technology in dentistry is used for sterilization, including root canal decontamination and dental instrument sterilization; enhancing composite restoration bonding to tooth surfaces; treating tooth decay and decontaminating cavities; tooth whitening by increasing the effect of bleaching agents; and modifying the surfaces of dental implants to improve cell adhesion and integration.
