Improve Awareness and Understanding: Educate the public, health workers, and agricultural professionals about antibiotic resistance, its causes, and the threat it poses. Strengthen Knowledge and Evidence: Enhance surveillance of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and monitor antibiotic use in both humans and animals. This also includes accelerating research. Reduce the Incidence of Infection: This is done primarily through better sanitation, hygiene, and infection prevention practices (like handwashing and vaccination) to decrease the overall need for antibiotics in the first place. Optimize the Use of Antimicrobial Medicines (Stewardship): Ensure that antibiotics are only prescribed when needed and are used correctly (right drug, right dose,
