The article argues that the common belief in a sudden, dramatic "fertility cliff" at age 35 is an oversimplification and a myth. While female fertility does decline with age, the process is more gradual and variable than the popular "cliff" metaphor suggests. This myth creates unnecessary anxiety and can lead to poor personal and medical decisions.
