Ethical approval in medical research is the formal authorization granted by an ethics committee (such as an IRB or REC) before a study involving human participants can begin. its primary purpose is to protect patients and volunteers by ensuring that research is conducted ensurely, responsibly, and in accordance with ethical and scientific standards.
