Student-centered learning (SCL) is an educational approach that shifts focus from teacher-led instruction to student engagement, making learners active participants who co-create their learning paths by choosing what and how they learn, fostering autonomy, critical thinking, and real-world relevance, often through methods like project-based or inquiry-based learning. Teachers act as facilitators or coaches, guiding students as they develop skills for independent thinking, problem-solving, and lifelong success, moving beyond rote memorization to deeper understanding.
