Compatibility Test Compatibility test is performed to evaluate the physical and chemical stability of a formulation when different components are mixed together. It is commonly used in pharmaceutical quality control to ensure that active ingredients and excipients do not interact negatively. The test is important in drug development according to standards of International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH).
