Antibiotic resistance (AMR) is a growing global health crisis. Responsible for over 1.2 million direct deaths annually, it is widely considered a "silent pandemic". Unless mitigated, this threat is projected to claim 10 million lives annually by 2050, undermining routine medical procedures and modern healthcare systems.
