نبذة مختصرة
1. MANET Networks:A mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile nodes which have the ability to communicate with each other without having fixed network infrastructure or any central base station. Since mobile nodes are not controlled by any other controlling entity, they have unrestricted mobility and connectivity to others. Routing and network management are done cooperatively by each other nodes.
2. Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV): is an on demand routing protocol. which is used to find a route between the source and destination node as needed. To find the path to the destination all mobile nodes work in cooperation using the routing control messages.
3. Black Hole attack is a kind of active attack. In a Black Hole attack, malicious node waits for neighboring nodes to send RREQ messages. When the malicious node receives an RREQ message, without checking its routing table, immediately sends a false RREP message giving a route to destination over itself, gives a high sequence number to make entry in the routing table of the victim node, before other nodes send a true RREP.
