There are some security issues in computing devices and networks that can't be solved using traditional security measures. Thus, the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) proposed the trusted computing technology. A technology that is based on a small chip called the trusted platform module (TPM). The TPM is a crypto microcontroller that is mounted to the computing system hardware platform and provides primitive cryptographic functionalities in addition to registers for sealed storage.
